New Canon 7D ?

The word has gone round about a French website that is advertising a new Canon 7D. Here’s the translation from BabelFish, I did Spanish at school……….

Well, there’s no spec, the picture is of a 5D, the price would be similar to the Nikon D700 but I’m not holding out much for the accuracy of this based on the level of information.

Say it was true, it’s going to be a Pro User level of pricing and as such it is well above the hopes and wants of the 5D mk2 threads that have been going around the web for some time. If there’s no new 5D this year then I’d be surprised, quite simply it’s such an old product…..
