more Canon 5d mk2 rumours and Canon 50d specifications!

Dpreview is posting specs for a new Canon 5D mk2, a 50D and also 2 new lenses. There’s no pedigree as to where these specs are from and as usual it gathers comments of the ‘I don’t believe Canon will do anything of interest at Photokina’ variety….

After photography at a recent outdoor evening event I’d have liked a IS 24-70mm but with a L series I’m not sure the price would be attractive enough for me!

Canon 5D Mark II

- Single Digic III Processor

- Viewfinder: 100 percent coverage .95 magnification
- Pop up flash
- New Lithium Ion Battery
- Weather sealing slightly better than 40D

Lenses:
24-70mm f/2.8L IS
18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 IS
