More speculation on Canon 5D mk2 dates

On Photography on the Net forum there’s a thread with a reader of UK based magazine Photography Monthly who reports that they have been told the Canon 5d mk2 is going to be a 16Mpix

Also on DPR forum buried in a thread on the same camera body is another unsubstantiated post with the person saying their dealer is taking orders for the mk2. As the thread progresses a post from a Parisian, part of the thread below

I’ve just talked with my Canon store in Paris. Embargo until September 17th but they take orders and have been told by Canon France that “the last quarter of 2008 will be very busy for you guys”
