The Canon G9 has been listed as discontinued on the B&H website, so I guess the G10 is on it’s way? Or is there as Canon Rumors has posted the likelihood of a ‘GSI’, a super high end G series with a larger sensor size?

A new Canon 5D mk2 post on photography-on-the.net from a USA originated post, from someone who has been to a Canon prelaunch (and signed a NDA – Non Disclosure Agreement) for new 5D, P&S, Lenses etc.

Kamerabild in Sweden have received an invitation form Canon for a press event on 26th August. Are we going to see a 5D mk2 and/or 50D?? It’s only in Swedish and web translations aren’t so good;

China Russ is posting again on dpreview’s Canon forums. He’s saying it’s end of August availability for the Canon 5D mk2 for China. I’ve posted a copy of his post below along with the link. Pricing info appears further down the posts but its’ allegedly $3000.
