$3000 Canon 5D mk2??

China Russ is posting again on dpreview’s Canon forums. He’s saying it’s end of August availability for the Canon 5D mk2 for China. I’ve posted a copy of his post below along with the link. Pricing info appears further down the posts but its’ allegedly $3000.

I have been waiting for news on the New 5D from my Chinese Canon suppliers,
Today I have been told by 2 separate unrelated suppliers that the new Canon 5D will be available to purchase in China at the end of August,
Also I have been told this is official Canon product, not Grey market,
I will try to get any available details on specification and price tomorrow!
